PART-TIME DIGITAL MARKETING/SOCIAL MEDIA COORDINATOR

68th & Monroe, an all-natural, handcrafted, body care product company is seeking a Part-Time Digital Marketing/Social Media Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong knowledge of the digital/social/streaming media landscape, including current and emerging mass media platforms. The successful candidate will be responsible for website management, monitoring and posting on blogs and social networks, engaging in online forums, participating in online outreach and promotion, optimizing our website and conducting keyword analysis. Those with extensive, online marketing media experience with an established organization are encouraged to apply.  Ideal candidates must be comfortable and effective working in a virtual environment with the ability to self-manage their time for optimal efficiency and productivity. Must have a laptop or desktop with virus protection. Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 

  • Create and execute digital marketing/sales campaigns

  • Develop and maintain editorial calendar regularly to ensure targeted campaigns are executed

  • Video production/creation

  • Streaming content creation

  • Develop and maintain online event calendar to ensure line-of-sight into upcoming special events and pop-ups

  • Monitor social/digital media analytics and develop daily, weekly, monthly reports

  • Create and manage engaging blog, social media, email marketing and SMS text content to increase brand awareness and conversion rates.

  • Assist in the general distribution of press releases and media alerts

  • Provide sales support at onsite special events and weekly farmer’s markets as needed

 

Preferred education

·         High School diploma

·         Some college education in Communications, Marketing, Mass Media or related field OR equivalent work experience

Required skills

·         2+ years direct experience in social media/marketing position or equivalent education (must be able to provide current samples of work)

·         Excellent oral and written communication skills

·         Strong attention to detail to minimize errors

·         In-depth knowledge of digital/social/streaming media marketing tools and methods using current and emerging platforms like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Tik Tok, Pinterest and Twitch TV

·         Experience navigating Google Drive

·         Experience with social media analytics, including Google Analytics and Facebook Insights

·         Working knowledge of Adobe Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator
