part-time Guest Experience Specialist (Farmers Market + Upper West Market)
Location: Atlanta, GA (Upper West Market + Local Farmers Markets)
Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, based on experience
Reports to: Store Manager + Founder
About the Role
This part-time role supports both our Upper West Market location and our weekly farmers market presence. You’ll help create a welcoming, elevated experience for guests, share product knowledge, set up and break down market displays, and represent the brand with warmth and professionalism. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys engaging with people, thrives in dynamic environments, and has the flexibility to work both indoors and outdoors.
Key Responsibilities
Welcome guests, offer guidance, and create memorable interactions at both the store and market booth.
Set up and break down farmers market displays, ensuring a clean, organized, visually appealing presentation.
Maintain strong product knowledge to confidently guide guests through ingredients, rituals, and scent profiles.
Process transactions accurately using mobile POS systems.
Restock products, maintain cleanliness, and support visual merchandising standards.
Assist with inventory, packing, and transporting products for market days.
Represent the brand with warmth, professionalism, and a guest-first mindset.
Qualifications
Retail or customer service experience preferred.
Comfortable engaging with guests in both indoor and outdoor settings.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently at markets when needed.
Strong communication skills and a naturally welcoming presence.
Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (market setup) and stand for extended periods.
Interest in clean beauty, fragrance, wellness, or botanical products.
Flexibility to work weekends, early mornings, and occasional evenings.
Schedule
Part-time with weekend availability required.
Mix of farmers market shifts and in-store shifts based on season and business needs.
Additional Compensation - Quarterly Performance Bonus
Part‑time Guest Experience Specialists are eligible for quarterly bonuses based on store sales and individual contribution to the guest experience. Bonuses are designed to reward reliability, positive guest interactions, teamwork, and contribution to the overall success of the Upper West Market location and farmers market activations. As the store grows, bonus opportunities grow with it, creating a shared sense of pride and ownership across the team.
